Congratulations to the Class of 2017

Tranby College congratulates the Class of 2017 on their impressive ATAR results.

The cohort achieved a historically high median ATAR of 81.55, compared to a statewide median ATAR of 78.60

College Dux, Basjan Du Toit, was the highest scoring Tranby student with a result of 98.45.

Ten students (23.25%) scored an ATAR of 90 or more.

Another thirteen students scored between 80 and 90, making 53.48% of our students in the top 20% of all results. 76.74% of Tranby students scored an ATAR placing them in the top 30%.

Principal, Dr Clayton Massey said "These are tremendously good results for our university-bound students and I expect Tranby will retain its top academic position in the region thanks again to the hard work and efforts of our students and teachers. We are proud of the achievements of all our students, whether they are vocational or tertiary bound. These results are sound evidence of the value of personal mastery - pushing yourself to be the best you can be. Well done everyone!"

The Australian Tertiary Admission Ranking (ATAR) is a number representing academic achievement in relation to all other school leavers nationwide. Basjan Du Toit's 98.45 places him in the top 1.52% of all Year 12 students Australia wide (better than 98.45% of all students).
